236 speeders charged in weekend crackdown

Two hundred and thirty-six people were charged with speeding this past weekend by Greater Sudbury Police. Another 58 people were charged with seatbelt and document-related offences.

Two hundred and thirty-six people were charged with speeding this past weekend by Greater Sudbury Police.

Another 58 people were charged with seatbelt and document-related offences. Two people were charged with failing to slow down and proceed with caution for emergency vehicles. Two others were charged with careless driving.

One Chelmsford driver was also charged with two counts of driving under suspension. His vehicle was impounded pending the outcome of the trial because of previous driving under suspension convictions.
