Alleged drug transaction leads to arrest

Two men are facing charges after being caught selling and buying drugs on Feb. 9.

Two men were seen making the alleged transaction by the Greater Sudbury Police's drug unit around 6:10 p.m. on Kathleen Street.

Police arrested the two men and during the arrest seized $170 worth of cocaine and $160 in Canadian currency.

A 32-year-old man has been charged with trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and four counts of breach of recognizance.

A 22-year-old man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and breach of probation.

The two are held in custody pending a bail hearing on Feb. 10.
