Two Chelmsford men were arrested early Tuesday morning, suspected of attempting to break into a local business.
Police received a tip from a citizen about a couple of people prowling through backyards on Charette St. in Chelmsford. Once spotted by police, the suspects attempted to flee the scene on foot but were taken into custody a short time later.
Police allege that the pair tried unsuccessfully to break into a business called Music Al. The door was damaged during the attempt.
The suspects, 19 and 21-years old, have been charged with attempted break and enter, possession of house breaking tools, trespass by night and obstructing justice.
