Greater Sudbury Police have made three arrests in the attack of a 52-year-old Sudbury man Sept. 8 near the Ramsay Lake Food Mart on Elgin St.
According to Greater Sudbury Police, the man was approached by two men and one woman around midnight. In an attempt to steal his wallet, the trio struck the man in the face with a hammer and chocked him but he managed to retain his wallet.
The victim was able to contact police and was transported to St. Joseph's Health Centre where he was treated and released.
Police have arrested a 26-year-old woman, a 35-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man.
