A 38-year-old Sudbury man was charged with arson endangering life after a fire destroyed the storage area of Balmoral Apartments on Spruce Street. The incident took place at around 4 am on Thursday morning.
An investigation by fire officials and police revealed items in the storage area had been purposely set on fire causing about $6,000 in damages.
The residents of the apartment building were asleep at the time the fire was set.
