Bus crosses centre line, strikes car

A Greater Sudbury Transit bus driver has been charged with failing to drive in a marked lane after the bus, which was west bound on Lasalle Boulevard, crossed into the east bound lanes at around 12:20 p.m. Aug. 15 and struck an east bound car, which subsequently struck another car travelling in the same direction.

The 44-year-old bus driver and the driver of the first car were taken to hospital with minor injuries. There were five passengers on the bus at the time. None of them were injured.
