Updated Dec. 6 at 7:50 a.m.

The OPP is reporting that the northbound lanes of Highway 69/400 are now closed at Parry Sound Drive. They were previously closed at Highway 124. The southbound lanes remain closed at Highway 522. In the update, the OPP said that the reopening time remains unknown.

Original story:

Highway 69/400 is closed in both directions south of Greater Sudbury this morning due to a collision between two tractor-trailers that is blocking the Key River bridge.

The OPP first announced the closure at 5:58 a.m.

The southbound lanes are closed at Highway 522 and the northbound lanes are closed at HIghway 124.

The reopening time is unknown.

No further information about the collision is currently available.

Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for the Parry Sound and Muskoka areas, so driving conditions are likely poor in the area.
