Cops seek man in connection with knife attack

Sudbury Police are on the lookout for a man in his 40s who confronted a cyclist with a knife in the Kathleen St. area of the city Tuesday night.

Sudbury Police are on the lookout for a man in his 40s who confronted a cyclist with a knife in the Kathleen St. area of the city Tuesday night.

The attacker threatened the cyclist, demanding the bike and swiping at him with the blade resulting in a minor injury.

The victim fled the scene, as did the assailant who was last seen walking south on the railroad tracks off of Kathleen St.

The man the police are looking for is about 5-11 and 300 lbs. He was wearing acid-washed jeans and a hooded sweatshirt.
