A driver lost control of his vehicle in the slush while attempting to pass a slow-moving snow plow on Hwy. 144 last week, striking three guard rails.
The driver wasn't injured but has been charged with careless driving.
Officers are warning motorists to be patient when following a snow plow and to remain at a safe distance when their blue lights are flashing. Drivers are also reminded to drive according to weather conditions.
