A driver is facing charges after a head-on collision on Lasalle Boulevard shortly after 6 p.m. Monday evening.
Greater Sudbury Police say a pickup truck travelling east on Lasalle crossed the centre line into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with an SUV.
The driver of the SUV was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pick-up truck was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
Both vehicles were severely damaged in the collision.

Westbound traffic on Lasalle Boulevard has been reduced to a single lane near the intersection at Notre Dame Avenue after a motor vehicle collision.
Greater Sudbury Police and Emergency Medical Services were on scene at around 7 p.m. cleaning up a collision where at least one vehicle was badly damaged.
A black SUV was towed from the scene.
GSPS have not yet been reached for comment.
