The Greater Sudbury Police Service would like to caution drivers in light of the recent changes in weather. Snow and ice pellets make area roads extremely slippery. Drivers are requested to lower their speed and increase distances of vehicles in front of you. Drive defensively and ensure that all of your windows are free of snow and ice so that you can anticipate any hazards that may present themselves.
Speed limits are posted as maximums under ideal conditions and conditions today are less than ideal. Officers will continue to enforce speed limits during this time. Driver’s must drive with due care and attention at all times.
