Members of the Joint Forces Drug Unit containing members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police executed a search warrant at a Sudbury residence Thursday around 9 p.m.
As a result of the search, 311 grams of Cannabis Resin, 597 grams of Cannabis Marijuana, $3,475 in currency and drug paraphernalia were seized. The street value of the seized drugs is estimated at $11,483.
A 44-year-old male, and a 43-year-old female, both residents of Sudbury, have each been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime.
They were held in custody until a bail appearance scheduled for Friday morning
