On Saturday, Feb. 13, at 2:22 a.m., a 32-year-old Sudbury man was pulled over after failing to stop, or even slow down, for a red light while approaching King Street on Notre Dame Avenue, according to police.

Officers, who were on King Street at the time, stopped the driver and noted he had slurred speech and red glassy eyes, according to police.

The officers arrested the man for impaired driving, and breath tests indicated his blood alcohol concentration was more than three times the legal limit, a police press release stated.

Once sober, he was released from police custody on a promise to appear in court date on March 31 to answer to charges of impaired driving and being over the legal limit, police stated.
