The Traffic Management Unit of the Greater Sudbury Police Service is investigating a fatality involving a train and pedestrian that occurred at Errington Avenue North and Mainville Street in Chelmsford at about 6 p.m. on May 8.
The elderly male was struck by the train and succumbed to his injuries, said a news release.
At this time, the circumstances of this fatal collision are still being determined.
The Greater Sudbury Police Service is asking anyone with information about this collision to contact the Traffic Management Unit at 675-9171, ext. 2416.
