Somebody took 11-year-old Kallida McCann?s mellophone, a large silver French horn type instrument she plays for the Navy League, and the family wants it back.
?Kallida cried all last night when she found out, she was shaking with grief. This little girl lives for the Navy League. She spends 20 hours a week at the Navy League participating in their cadet program. She was cadet of the year last year,? said her mother Christine McCann.
The mellophone, housed in black case, was stolen from the family?s black 2003 Dodge Hemi at 891 Connaught St., somewhere between the hours of 9 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 11 and 8 am, Jan. 12
