Members of the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing to investigate following a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred Thursday morning on Highway 144 in Ulster Township.
At approximately 7:15 am, a southbound passenger car collided with a northbound tractor-trailer at the turn off to Onaping Lake.
One person was killed in the collision and another was injured and transported to Sudbury Regional Hospital. No names are being released pending notification of next-of-kin.
A technical traffic collision investigator was brought to the scene to assist in the investigation.
