Greater Sudbury Police were called to a residence early Sunday on Laurentian Street in Sudbury, with regards to a break and enter in progress.

“The homeowner was on the phone reporting people breaking into his residence thru a rear window,” police said in a release. “They culprits removed some jewelry from the residence.”

Police arrived on the scene and located four out of five adults they believe were involved in the crime after a brief foot chase.

“The fifth person is known to police and a warrant is being sought for their arrest,” the release said.

Police located prohibited brass knuckles and a collapsible baton at the scene. Everyone arrested will be held in custody pending a bail hearing.
