Four charged after drug raid

Three men and one woman were charged after Greater Sudbury Police executed a drug warrant Aug. 13 in the downtown.

All four were charged with two counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

One of the men was also charged with breach of recognizance of bail.

About 70 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of cocaine and eight codeine pills were seized. The drugs are worth about $8,600. Police also seized $11,230 in cash.

The three men were held in custody and attended bail court the following day. The woman was released on a promise to appear in court.
