On May 31, 2004, at approximately 9:40 pm a motor vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 69 North at main street in Val Caron.
As a result of the collision, an older model black Cavalier fled the scene east on Main Street. The car was operated by a white female in her 40s with brown shoulder length hair and a medium build. There were other occupant(s) in the suspect vehicle. The vehicle is believed to have suffered extensive damage to the front end. The suspect vehicle collided with a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am, which sustained damage to the passenger side. Anyone with information is urged to contact Greater Sudbury Police at 675-9171.
