Original story:

Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision that occurred on Notre Dame Avenue Friday morning.

The driver of one of the vehicles was taken to Health Sciences North with non life-threatening injuries, police said on one of their Twitter accounts. The suspect's vehicle is a 2008 four-door grey Mazda with front end damage.

And here's the kicker — the licence plate on the suspect's vehicle was left behind at the scene. It's “just a matter of time now,” police tweeted.
