West Parry Sound OPP say the skeletal remains of a 20-30 year old man found by a hunter in the woods near Hwy 69 may have been there since late August or early September.

Investigators are treating the death as suspicious.
The remains were found in Shawanaga Township just north of Parry Sound. As of Sunday, OPP investigators, a specially trained K-9 unit and the OPP Emergency Response Team were on hand investigating the scene.
The skeletal remains have been taken to the Forensics Pathology Unit of the chief coronerÂ?s office in Toronto for further examination.
Further forensic examination to determine the identity of the deceased and a post-mortem to determine the cause of death are to be conducted there.
