The decision to drive on Highway 17 with a suspended driver's licence has resulted in charges for a 35-year-old Whitefish man.
 
The suspect was stopped by the Espanola OPP on the highway in the community of McKerrow May 5 at around 12:46 p.m.
 
It was found that he was driving while under suspension and the vehicle he was driving had an expired validation sticker.
 
The man was charged with driving while under suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. 
 
The suspect is expected to appear in court in Espanola June 30.
