Update: Police looking for public's help in finding Suspected Flour Mill thief

Updated at 9 a.m.: Greater Sudbury Police officers were unable to track down a suspected thief on the run in the Flour Mill this morning.

"Search of area was (negative) and the investigation is ongoing," the latest tweet from @SudburyPolice reads.

Police are asking anyone in the Flour Mill area who may have seen a caucasian male, dressed in a black hat, pants and sweater on foot in the area between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. to contact them at 705-675-9171. The man is described as being between age 30 and 40, and of average build.

Greater Sudbury Police are currently chasing a suspected thief in the Dell Street neighbourhood of the Flour Mill.

In a tweet a few moments ago, GSPS said the man is believed to be fleeing after committing a break and enter.

"GSPS officers in the area of Dell St in regards to a suspect fleeing from a B&E, suspect 30-40, tall, avg build, black hat/pants/sweater," the tweet at around 7:45 a.m. reads.
