Lasalle extension open following crash early this morning

Updated at 2:33 p.m.: The Lasalle extension has been re-opened.

Updated at 8:58 a.m.: The Lasalle extension remains closed following a serious motor vehicle collision earlier this morning. 

The lone occuprants of both vehicles — a man and a woman, both age 49 — have been transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate.

Lasalle extension between Frood Road and Elm Street are closed due to a serious motor vehicle collision.

"Area roads are getting icy, please drive with extra care," Greater Sudbury Police tweeted around 5:30 a.m. on April 10.
