Two hikers were lost on a Manitoulin Island trail on Tuesday have been located in good health.
It took OPP officers, including the emergency response team, along with the Greater Sudbury Police canine unit, about four hours to find the two. OPP didn't specify which trail they became lost on, only say it was "near Highway 540" in the Township of Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands. Both the Cup and Saucer Trail and the Bidwell Trail are located near the highway.
The call for help came in about 7:52 p.m., well after dark.
