At approximately 4 a.m. on Oct. 24, police officers responded to a call and found a 42-year-old man behind the wheel of his vehicle.
The driver failed a roadside screening test, according to a police release.
He was brought to police Headquarters where further breath tests revealed he had over twice the legal amount of alcohol in his blood, the release stated. The male was lodged in police cells to sober up, and will be released later today.
He will appear in court at a later date. He will charged with having over 80 mg of alcohol in his blood, according to the release. The driver also had his drivers’ license suspended for 90 days.
