Greater Sudbury Police responded to a stabbing incident in the North Shore Road area of Windy Lake near Onaping Falls on Sunday, around 3 a.m.
An investigation determined a 31-year-old North York man, had been stabbed by a 23-year-old woman, also from North York but formerly from Levack.
The man was treated at hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and released.
Charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace is Ashley Teske.
The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by members of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Greater Sudbury Police Service.
