Police were called to an Albinson Street address where an adult male had been stabbed in the lower body with a knife, at approximately 2 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The victim responded by striking the attacker in the face causing him to bleed. The attacker fled the area, while the victim was transported to St. Joseph’s hospital with a non-life-threatening wound.
Police searched for the culprit but was unable to locate him. The investigation is ongoing and Greater Sudbury Police are seeking any information from the public that would assist in this investigation.
