A 20-year-old man has been charged for allegedly assaulting others with bear spray, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.
On July 23, at about 11 p.m., a fight broke out at a party on Kathleen Street. The accused was hit, and he left the scene, only to return with bear spray.
He sprayed two people directly, said Greater Sudbury Police, and six others were cross contaminated. They were all treated for minor injuries at the scene by EMS.
Officers attended the scene and searched the area for the suspect who had fled on a bicycle. He was located and arrested without incident.
He is charged with the following one count of weapons dangerous, three counts of assault with a weapon, three counts of breach of probation and one count of administering a noxious thing.
