Greater Sudbury Police Services, Fire and EMS found the body of a deceased man in Lily Creek near Beverly Drive this afternoon.
The cause of the man's death is unknown at this time. GSPS Criminal Investigations Division is currently investigating the incident.
A post-mortem will be done by the Coroner's Office. Officers remain on scene.
The area near where the body was found has been closed off by officers, but roads in the area remain open.
"Anyone with information about the individual or the incident is asked to please contact Greater Sudbury Police or Crime Stoppers," said GSPS spokesperson Kaitlyn Dunn.
