Massage therapist faces seven sex assault charges

An investigation that began in August ended with seven sexual assault charges against a 55-year-old-man working at a Sudbury physiotherapy clinic, Greater Sudbury Police have announced.

In a news release, police said the criminal investigations division received a series of complaints of sexual assault involving a local registered massage therapist. 

“The incidents are alleged to have occurred at a physiotherapy clinic in the City of Greater Sudbury,” the release said. “To date, five victims have been identified.”

The massage therapist will make his next court appearance Oct. 26 in Sudbury court.
