Money, TV stolen after two men trick way into home

Two men are being sought by police after allegedly robbing a couple at knife-point in their home on Louis Street, around 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 11.

Greater Sudbury Police arrested a driver early on Dec. 26 after the 48 year old male knocked down two city light standards on Paris Street.

Two men are being sought by police after allegedly robbing a couple at knife-point in their home on Louis Street, around 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 11.

The two men pretended to be friends of a person in the residence to get inside, and once inside threatened a man and his fiancée with knives, a news release from the Greater Sudbury Police explained.

The two demanded money, and also stole a flat screen TV.

No one was injured in the incident.

An arrest warrant is being obtained for one suspect, while police are asking the public for assistance in locating and identifying the second.

He is described as being about 25-years-old, 5-6 tall, and 160 pounds. He has short brown hair and a goatee.
