Mother and son killed in crash on Hwy. 6

Police are still investigating a fatal crash this past weekend that took the life of a Sudbury woman and her 25-year-old son. The collision took place at approximately 10:30 am on Jan. 7, on Hwy. 6 in Merritt Twp.

The collision took place at approximately 10:30 am on Jan. 7, on Hwy. 6 in Merritt Twp.

According to police, a vehicle driven by Cathy Love, 50, who had her son Brody as a passenger, lost control and and entered the on-coming lane of traffic. Love's car collided with a pick-up truck driven by Harold Frost, 55, of Little Current.

Frost and his passenger, 52-year-old Rachel Howell both suffered non life threatening injuries in the crash.

Police reports say weather and road conditions were poor at the time of the crash.
