Nine charged with impaired last week

Greater Sudbury transit, meanwhile, was ion the planning stages for New YearÂ?s over the same period.

Party goers will be able to ride the bus for free after 10 pm New YearÂ?s Eve.

Buses will run until 4 am.

Transit officials say the extended New YearÂ?s transit schedule is always a big success.

Â?We are in the transportation business,Â? a spokesperson said. Â?We want to let people know there are other avenues rather than driving after drinking.Â?
