At approximately 6:45 pm last night an off duty officer was in the area of Barrydowne and Hawthorne when he observed three 14-year-old males spray painting the old Cedar Hut Restaurant Building.
The officer was able to apprehend two of the culprits on scene. On duty uniform officers attended to complete the investigation.
The third party was identified and located a short time later. All three were charged with mischief and released on appearance notices.
They will be required to attend court on the May 8 to answer to the charges.
