No highways have been closed in the region, however the Ontario Provincial Police are responding to numerous collisions and vehicles stuck in ditches since 7 am.
No injuries have been reported in relation to any of the collisions.
It is believed that at least some of the collisions are related to weather conditions. OPP are reminding motorists to take extra time to get to their destination and to drive according to the road/weather conditions.
