The Ontario Fire Marshal?s Office and Greater Sudbury Police are continuing their investigation after a fatal fire Sunday afternoon.
Sgt. Wayne Foster said an autopsy was performed on a body found inside 2159 Laurier St. in Sudbury, but a positive identification had yet to be determined Tuesday afternoon.
Two pumpers, a rescue unit and aerial response team were on the scene within minutes after an emergency call was received at 3:35 pm Sunday.
There was very little fire and structural damage was almost non-existent, said deputy fire chief Marc Leduc.
