The body of the 61-year-old pilot of a float plane that crashed on Fairbank Lake earlier this week has been recovered, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.
The Ontario Provincial Police Underwater Search and Rescue Unit found the body of Brian Hickey outside the fuselage of the plane, said a press release.
The crash happened Sept. 21. The 32-year-old passenger of the plane was rescued by residents of the area.
