Members of the criminal investigations branch of the Greater Sudbury Police arrested and charged two individuals on Jan. 16.
The two men were accused of a robbery that took place on Dec. 6, 2007 in which a male victim had been assaulted in the area of College St. and Frood Rd. at 2:16 am.
The victim had his wallet stolen in the incident and was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries to the ribs and face.
Descriptions were given to police of two male suspects. As a result, police arrested Eric Dallaire, 19, and Eric Demore, 20, on Jan. 16 and charged them both with robbery and aggravated assault. Demore is also charged with breach of probation.
