Police continue their search for a wanted man near Onaping Falls

Ontario Provincial Police are still searching for a wanted man in the area of Onaping Falls, identified Friday as 43-year-old Kristopher Lachance. 

A warrant has been issued for Lachance’s arrest in connection to an assault, mischief, escape from lawful custody, uttering threats to cause death, as well as break and enter, and theft, dating back to July 14. 

He is described as a 5-foot-8 caucasian man with brown, partially balding hair and brown eyes, weighing around 170-pounds. The accused is also said to have a cross tattoo on the back of his left hand near his thumb. 

Lachance is a resident of the area and is believed to be of no threat to public safety at this time.
