Wednesday night at approximately 9:08 pm, a man entered Classic Catering on Notre Dame Ave., robbing the lone female employee on duty.
The man brandished an eight-inch butcher knife and demanded cash from the worker. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money. After leaving the store, the suspect was last seen heading west on foot.
The suspect is described as five foot two, slim build, and approximately 17 to 23-years old. He was wearing a dark blue or black hip-length jacket with a hood. The man was covering his nose and mouth with a dark-coloured scarf with fringes on it.
Anyone with information is asked to phone police or Crime Stoppers at 675-TIPS.
