Greater Sudbury Police are investigating after a man was brutally attacked on Kennedy Street in New Sudbury early Tuesday morning.

Police responded to a call just after midnight that there was an assault in progress in a multi-unit, one floor residence near Lasalle Secondary School.

The individuals who took part in the attack fled before police arrived.
