A Sudbury police officer from the community of Lively has been charged with assault, forcible confinement and threatening.
Dan McNeil, 45, is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 20. He was released after being arrested at his residence on Sunday. A woman called police and reported she had been verbally threatened and that a man had become violent.
