Police respond to a threat against Lo-Ellen Secondary

Greater Sudbury police are presently conducting a criminal investigation after receiving information through Crime Stoppers about a potential threat against Lo-Ellen Park Secondary school.

Greater Sudbury police are presently conducting a criminal investigation after receiving information through Crime Stoppers about a potential threat against Lo-Ellen Park Secondary school.

Police have advised the Rainbow School Board of the threat and are collaboratively working together to address the situation, said a news release.

Both the police and the school board are taking the threat seriously until proven otherwise and have taken steps to reduce the potential risk to the school.

The criminal investigations branch has been assigned to investigate the threat.

Anyone with information regarding any potential threat to Lo-Ellen Secondary is asked to phone police at 675-9171 or Crime Stoppers at 675-TIPS.
