Police seek information about fatal Hwy. 69 crash on Feb. 8

Provincial police are looking for potential witnesses who may have information regarding the Feb. 8 fatal collision on Highway 69 that claimed the life of Tammy Ashawasega.

Ashawasega was driving a stolen Sports Utility Vehicle when she collided with a commercial motor vehicle on Highway 69, north of Estaire Road, just after midnight.

The investigation into this fatal collision is continuing and the OPP is appealing to the public for information. If you witnessed this collision or have any information regarding any vehicles in the area at the time of the collision, you are asked to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or your nearest police authority.
