Over the long holiday weekend officers of the Traffic Management Unit will be conducting spot checks within the City of Greater Sudbury.
Traffic enforcement efforts over the weekend will target aggressive drivers, boating safety and drinking and driving incidents and radar enforcement will be conducted throughout the City of Greater Sudbury as well, said a Greater Sudbury Police news release.
“The public is reminded that the Traffic Management Unit of the Greater Sudbury Police Service is dedicated to ensuring that our streets are safe. As a result we are asking the public to have a safe and enjoyable weekend.,” the release stated.
