Public helped OPP nab drunk drivers

About suppertime last Friday, OPP arrested a Sudbury senior driving near Estaire. He was charged with impaired driving/over 80 mgs.

Early Saturday morning, Killarney OPP officers attempted to make a traffic stop, where the vehicle continued to a residence driveway before stopping. A 44-year-old man was subsequently arrested and charged criminally for impaired/over 80 mgs.

As a result of a keen traveller, OPP nabbed another impaired driver on Highway 69, near Estaire at approximately 10 pm Saturday night. A tractor-trailer was reported to OPP weaving across the road and shoulder. Officers located the vehicle and the driver. The Burlington resident was
charged with impaired/over 80 mgs.

OPP received two complaints of an impaired driver at approximately 9:30 Sunday morning in the town of Little Rapids, north of Thessalon. It was reported a driver who was displaying signs of impairment, parked his car and went into church. OPP waited for the man to leave the church service and arrested him. A 72-year-old Scarborough man was charged with impaired.
