The sentencing has been pushed back for the man charged with impaired driving after crashing into parked cars on Elgin Street back in July.

The crash, captured on Sudbury.com's security footage, occurred on a warm summer evening around the dinner hour, when Elgin is fairly busy. There were dozens of pedestrians along the sidewalk and dozens of parked cars along both sides of the busy downtown street at the time of the incident.

The sentencing of the man who pleaded guilty to impaired driving after slamming his vehicle into parked cars, causing a chain reaction of collisions and injuring a woman, was originally scheduled to take place Jan. 4.

Sudbury.com will have more on the story when the court announces a new sentencing date.
