UPDATE: Two people seriously injured in Highway 6 crash

One person suffers life-threatening injuries in single-vehicle crash

Update:

Two people are seriously injured, one with life-threatening injuries following the Highway 6 crash that closed the road earlier on Oct. 25.

The crash happened at about 7:27 a.m. The highway was closed for about 5 hours.

It was a single-vehicle crash, Two people were injured in the collision. One person was transported to hospital with serious injuries and the other person with life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the North East Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team.  

More information will be released when available.

Highway 6 is open in both directions after it was closed due to a serious crash this morning.

Provincial police are at the scene of a single motor vehicle crash on Highway 6.

The Highway is closed at Limit Street and Townline Road.

There is a detour on both roads via Sheguiandah, said OPP.
