An off duty officer was in the area of the New Sudbury Shopping Centre (NSSC) around 5:15 pm Friday night when he observed a suspicious male exit the shopping centre and enter a vehicle.

Once inside the vehicle male removed articles from under his clothing. The off duty officer followed the male’s vehicle to a parking lot across from the NSSC.

The vehicle struck another vehicle in that parking lot. While it was stopped the off duty officer approached the male and at that time noted that the articles the male had removed still had the tags attached. The male was subsequently arrested.
